The First International Indian School, Riyadh KSA (FIISR) (formerly International Indian School, Riyadh or Embassy of India School, Riyadh), an English medium school, is one of the largest Indian schools with close to 9500 students. The students are locally known as "iisrians" (meaning the student of IISR). The school is part of the global network of International Indian Schools that are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India and is licensed by the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia. ==History== The school was founded on 9 October 1982 as Embassy of India School, Riyadh (EISR) to cater to the educational requirements of the children of Indian expatriate community working in and around Riyadh city.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Schoolofficials-IISR )〕
